Thanks for the complements guys, I really liked the last 3 or 4 photos
I'd like to get better at lighting up the riders without lighting up the entire ground so harshly
I took about 350 and threw out all but 40
Pick this up for Becky:

It's a prime lens, so no zoom, but has a really high aperture (goes down to f/1.8 which creates some awesome depth of field shots) and is incredibly sharp. We just recently added it to our array of lenses. It's a really, really fun lens to play with and for $100, you absolutely can not beat it.
Also, at f/1.8, she can shoot when it's getting dark at a much higher shutter speed therefore getting less motion blur

it was getting semi dark when we were out last night. the sun was setting and i don't have a 'great' lens. the pictures came out clearer than the other day when i shot him. i was trying get the lowest aperture i could get (3.5-5.6), the shutter speed was pretty fast (i forget the actual timing) but because of the darkness in the shots i turned up the iso from 100 to 1600...it was the only way i was able to even get some decent shots. here are the two i kept...i got a few other decent shots, but he was only doing a wheelie lol
