So I took the 636 out for its maiden voyage last night. And WOW i totally get the hype now. It has stockish gears and no matter what, it wouldnt stall out. It doesnt want to dip into circles as much as my f4i does, but once in the circle you dont have to touch the throttle at all.
Then I rode the f4i and it felt like a fat pig with a flat tire, even tho it didnt have a flat tire. I blame Anthony for that haha.

i brought both bikes out last night and rode the 636 first. took a while to get used to but now i like it. then i got on the f4i for a few and i was like wtf!! It felt just like the day i switched from a katana to an f3.

I just almost ate concrete thanks to one of those 3 wheeler 1 seater traffic cop *******. ******* **** turns on her lights at the last second and starts inching out RIGHT in front of me.... then just stopped and looked at me. I was doing like 50 at the time and the road was a bit wet, I barely even got on the front brakes but locked them up. Musta been oil on the ground too. Hit a bump right when they locked up and caused a bit of a tank slapper. Fucked my foot up something lovely when I planted it on the floor to stop me from going down. Somehow straightened that **** out and barely missed her, all while she just looked at me. Like really where the **** are you going with your sirens on in that ****** buggy thing stopping traffic? Are you responding to a ******* call? You're a traffic cop.

Last night i did some seat standers with non-flipped clipons. Holy **** is that an awkward feeling. I dont think ive ever done that before, always had flipped clipons or db bars.
Mods for tonight:
Put on the vortex clipons
Get a less powerful return spring for the brake pedal
reroute hb line so it doesnt touch the throttle. yeah

Also, there was some choke/idle/mixture lever on the left clipon. Do i need that?
