Whats GOOD. So have you decided on whether to get a different bike to learn on, or atleast take all those plastics off?? Maybe a sprocket?

 

I hate being a ****** already. I didnt knock the JB Weld loose. I cracked the motor mount in a different spot than last time Just cleaned it with brake cleaner and put a layer of JB Weld on it. Once that dries I'll put another layer on and pray that it holds up. If not - ****** motor swap time

 

get someone to weld it up for ya.

 

going to sp to get a bigger setup i got -1 in the front +2 in the rear im going with a 55 tooth

 

Its already been welded once and was still leaking so I put some JB Weld to stop the leak. Last night it hit the ground pretty hard and now theres another crack. So if I gotta take it out I'ma just swap the motor since I got a spare. I just dont wanna have to do all that Hopefully the JB Weld will last until I get circles down otherwise I might destroy my spare motor

Its aluminum - you weld aluminum and good

Oh if ya have a spare then I would just swap it and then take the cracked one to get welded up good and then you'll have another spare. If I didn't just break my TIG I would weld it up. I can weld aluminum with the MIG setup but its not that good. I would either TIG Weld or Stick Weld it.

 

I wanna get the circles down before putting the spare in coz I constantly pancake the bike and dont wanna destroy another motor

 

What cage you running on the bike?

 

I know a good welder who doesnt charge a lot - $50 last time. But like I said I just dont wanna destroy another motor right now.

Nah I ordered the cage directly from SI. Im not the only one who's cracked motor mounts with an SI cage either. I spoke to 4 other people on here who cracked their mounts in the same exact spot Yut ughhhhhh
