today sucked for me :/ time for a new radiator

 

What happened?

I'm down for some pool, we have a place near my hopefully new apartment

 

I squidded it up and gave waaaaaaaaaaay to much gas in a o and the bar slammed into the concrete and then sorta bounced off the ground and 12 bar smashed my knee and below my stomach. Nothing too bad but Im sore. And before that I broke my radiator 2 minutes after trix broke his. Thank god for zip ties

 

Do you guys reinforce yours at all?

 

I had a bunch of the big zip ties holding it tight to the frame but I guess they all busted off at some point from constantly hittin the floor I saw one of them on the floor today after the **** broke.

 

Word lemme know.

 

In addition to the welded on bars and zipties, I grinded down the nub on the right side, drilled through, and ran a bolt just like on the left

 

Yeah I did the same thing on the right side. I do gotta make something to reinforce it. I got another minty radiator so maybe I'll do something with that.

 

Wish i could have come out today but the whole family thing took longer than i expected.

I have to show you how it tore it and how pissed I am at how it tore sooo now I gotta buy a new one cause I cant trust this one at all now. I'll be out for 2 weeks w00t lol and then I'll reinforce it like crazy

there is a radiator place in freeport on Merrick road 4got the name tho lol i kno ty got his **** fixed a few times there.. my radiator is lookin trashed also.. ****** factory original from day 1... dont ask me how.

 

You and me both, last night felt like winter while i was outside. Just think- soon enough it'll be like 60 at night and we can stay out there all night just getting it in.

 

Your **** is good enough to ride til you get a new one in. If its still leaking a lil use that radiator stop a leak and it'll close up the hole til you get a new one. Ive used that **** plenty of times

 

Wanna make me a bracket like on inolens bike Its a little bit of a job tho. Maybe I should buy that home depot welder and get busy lol.

 

when you get a new one, use big zip ties to hold it on, dont use the stock mounts. Ive had this radiator for 2 years now because im not using the stock mounts, even tho theyre good. zip ties give, and are easily replaceable
