solid pegs are bad

 

ive been running woodcraft cfms for over 5 years...besides a little slip up the took a chunk out of my leg i love them....just baught another set this past winter for 80 shipped

 

Should I just go with the rk armor rearset brackets and use the stock folding pegs

 

i had some after market rear sets with solid pegs and i put my foot down and the peg caught the back of my leg and rolled my foot under the peg , i thought i was gonna lose my foot ..lol

i never seen their rear sets so i dont know if you can or not

 

those are solid pegs too right? Where'd you pick up a set for 80 shipped? or were they used?

 

I had the esd shorty rearsets on the f4i and never had a problem but they were also shorties and your foot just fit on them. i think these rk armors are 1/2" longer.

they have both kinds - solid or you can mount your stock pegs.

 

ya i guess the short ones wouldnt be as bad but i still think folding is the way to go

they were used but in awesome condition...shop around for a min ppl always sell aftermarket reaesets...and now u got a kawi register for kawiforums.com....more a racer/everyday rider site but awesome deals alot of the time

wassup buddy. I didnt go to the block party. I sold my F4i and bought a 636 and was unsure about going but a wiring problem made sure I didnt go - thankfully. Id rather go down in the lot like I did then in the street any day I'll hit you up next time I ride locally which will be next week sometime after I swap harnesses.

 

Anyone know if rearsets are interchangable from 03/04 to 05/06. Im guessing they're not but figured Id ask anyway.

 

What good bro?? Yeah that ride is danger you saw what happend too me last time me and my bike went sky high. What did you get for that beast f4i? Wondering what year 636 did you get???

 

Yeah I wasnt gonna go to begin with but then people were talking me into it and I said I'd see after riding the 636 for the day on Saturday. 30 minutes into riding it the main fuse blew just as I was about to do a coaster and I got launched over the bars and landed on my head at about 15 or 20mph so I'm very happy I didnt go lol. I picked up an 03/04 project bike and was planning on keeping my F4i for a while and working on the 636 but then I was offered 2500 for the f4i and couldnt pass that up Frame was recently cracked again so the motor had to be dropped to get it welded so I just decided to sell it and sink the loot into setting up the 636. It looks a little rough but I got it for cheap and over the winter I'ma redo everything and make it look nice. Til then ima at least powder the wheels once I find a good set of wheels. I got a line on a rear but if anyone knows of a straight 03/04 636 front rim, lemme know
