I saw you were lookin for plugs to borrow. I got 2 plugs I could lend you til you get yours but Im not gonna be in Jersey til at least the weekend. Might not even come this weekend but if I do I could bring them w me. If you wanna come out to Mitchell tonight which is in Garden City Long Island, we'll be there from about 9-12 or around there anyways. Lemme know - you got my # I think

 

they'll be in at napa tomorrow. funny thing is that the stealership wants 22.50 a piece but nappa wants 14.95 for the proper ngk iridium plugs. i hate the stealership.

cheaper than 14.95? it'd probably be the same after you factor in shipping costs but 14.95 is still a decent price.

 

yeah i found em for like 12 bux on ebay but then its 5.50 a piece to ship them

 

even if they grouped em together and gave you cheaper shipping, it'd still probably be the same as 14.95 local pickup.

 

sketchy hooks it up for stuntriders , check with him when ever you need to get any thing oem or any thing you cant buy directly from the manufacturer ..

 

yea the hoses wouldnt fit...if i didnt always get lost goin to ny i would come out tonite...by time i find my way u guys will be done already

Clean Air mod = greatest thing ever.

I hydrolocked my bike within 3 minutes of being out without it. Neal and Eric helped me out with the clean air mod and good thing because my bike's been upside down twice since

 

the 636 likes to puke oil in the air box when it's on the bar too long and the f4i likes to do it when it's lying on the left side , the clean air mod is free and easy to do and can save a motor so i dont get why every one doesnt do it ..

 

i did it on my 636. didnt notice any performance difference but it smokes a lot when i put it on the bar now. im hoping thats oil being burned in the headers rather than in the cylinders. Thats what i tell myself anyway, motor still runs fine.

 

you bypassed your air box so there is no way the oil is getting in the cylinders as long as the bike is running but you may want to check your oil lever , when it's too high it will smoke alot ..

it's not hurting any thing cause the oil is going straight to the exhaust

 

you probably didnt notice the power difference cause you probably didnt ride the bike enough before you did the mod to notice it ..

it makes the idle pull much stronger

Yo I'm gonna go nuts. I got all my new parts and wanted to ride so I threw the stock clipons on. As I'm putting the throttle cables around the new throttle tube, I drop the tube maybe 1 foot and it lands RIGHT where the cables go and snaps off the tab that holds the cable on the tube. Here we ******* go again. Does ANYONE have a throttle tube for an f4i?

 

come to mitchell tone - i found a tube you can use and replace for me. ill bring the not so bent clip on tubes and the throttle tube but bring the MM4 video so I could watch it. I'll call you when my bike is loaded up.,

 

wheelies were great tonight...i need just a lil bit more practice at featherin the brake instead of stabbin it...i cant keep the bike up and slow for nothing
