i had an astro van with a 4.3 with almost 300000 miles . the trans slipped a little when going into 2nd at full throttle , other then all the plastic clips for the door locks starting to snap it was bad *** . plan on getting another one in the near future . got about 22mpg on the hiway

Good wheelies by all last night considering the conditions. It's going to be 10 degrees warmer tonight and alas i have no choice but to practice ss's.

Thanks alot gil this was the answer I was looking for and I had searched other forums on this motor, its the same one they use in the astrovan. So this is not a bad deal then. I am going to take a look at it tonight hopefully when its light out since he came when it was to dark to do so. So mikeM if I make a final decision tonight you dont have to come with me to queens tomorrow to look at the dodge :D thank you beforehand eitherway.

I'm coolin it til it's stuntbum time in a couple of days though, I don't wanna completely mangle my **** for the weekend. I'm thinking of lightly taping my hands to my clipons using like painters tape or something so it breaks easy

I got the recipe for getting brake control down this weekend. It involves green koolaid and instructional post it notes as reminders stuck to my gas tank.
I'm tired of ******* looping every single time I'm not even touching the brake. I'm just gonna clutch it up telling myself non stop to hit the ******* brakes. I think in my mind I somehow feel that hitting the bar and bailing is what I'm supposed to do. Like hitting the bar was a mountain to climb and I'm supposed to fall after. Every time I clutch it up I'm fully expecting to crash now. I've come to accept that that's the extent of doing wheelies in my head. Hitting the bar and crashing. Every time I clutch it up my goal is just to hit that bar and not worry about what happens afterward. I need to get over that fast.

just take your time everyone learns at a diff pace and if your scared to fall dont think about it!
noone wants to fall just dump the clutch and go for idle, ,dont chase it if you dont get it, put it down and try again .. you will get it sooner or later!
