hey Neal, if someone were to start up an LLC. Then that corp bought a nice lot, fenced it in, and gave written permission to a bunch of riders, without having any sort of company insurance.. Whats the worst that could happen?

 

If they were to do that it'd be better to start a corporation instead of an LLC. I learned that the hard way. With an LLC they could come after the members of the LLC if it came down to that. With a corporation they go after the corp and not the individual owners of that corp. So with what youre saying, if a corporation was started and fenced in a lot with no insurance and fines were written against the corp, nothing would happen except the corp if they didnt pay would be hit with judgments but that wouldnt be a big deal. If it were an LLC and it were hit with judgments, those judgments would be passed on to the members of the LLC.

 

That would be sick tho if we could do that

also theres a car club that only on sundays meets up at the nassau colliseum and they do auto cross there in the far south corner by hempstead turnpike iono if maybe we could do something there

 

yeah theyve been going there for years. I wonder how much they pay to trent that corner every weekend. You know anybody in that crew?

Actually you were right. when creating ur llc just be sure that its done the right way. ur assets are seprate from the business.

 

Make sure you mention that all riders will sign a waiver so that in any case of a incident they are not responsible. They will feel more comfy with doing it that way.

 

Yeah but if there is an incident that happens outside of the area of the lot from something that takes place in the lot (say a bike gos running and hits a car) the person would be responsible
