I just did wheelies across the street from my house in the church parking lot and busted my ***. i slipped off the seat from my feet being wet and the 12bar scraped my leg up I ****** hate the snow Oh and toneth - the cct is easy to swap. buy an ape cct off ebay for $50 and swap it - if you look on the gsxr forums there will be directions on how to swap it.

 

an exhaust leak could sound like a knocking noise sorta. if its the cct it'll sound like a bunch of bb's in a can when you rev it up.

wierd cuz its an 08 but i could be a bad tensioner. id check on the gsxr forums and see if there could of been a recall on them.
back in 99 i remember the srads had bad ones.
if it a lil slack it aint gonna sound that bad but annoying enough
my bike now did it for 2 years before i restretched the spring....and now its back.
note to self, fix it this winter

we hit 3 underground parking lots and got booted from all of them within 5 minutes. then we went to the train station, where it was too icy for big bikes, but we had fun on 50s for an hour or 2

The ******* fairings wouldn't come off. All the gunk and shti on the bottom basically ******* glued them together. Then I got it off and didn't have a socket big enough to take the oil drain plug out.

thats a complete squid move lol. when i first got my gsxr i couldnt figure out how to take the fairings off either - them clips fucked me up lmao. its all good - soon hopefully you wont be such a squid.

Yeah it's probably going to be gone once the F4i is done, I don't even like looking at it anymore.

It's either being sold or I'll throw race rails on it and use it for streets occasionally as Neal suggested once I get decent enough not to crash 300 times.
