solid aluminum really isnt much stronger than the tubing we use. The overall diameter counts much more than wall thickness. If you really want stronger tubes, get steel As long as its not tempered, steel will bend many times before it breaks.
Also, Bullos was the first time ive ever heard of an aluminum tube breaking under normal duty. His HAD TO have been damaged already.

from what i read it most likely had a stress crack from the day before when he dropped his bike at the lot session thats what i was thinking - some solid steel tubes. much less chance of that ****** up then the aluminum ones we use

iono - right now i got aluminum tubes which i cut to size that are a little thick ID than vortex but shiiiiiiiit seeing that pic skurred me I guess I shouldnt really worry about it coz usually as soon as I bend a tube I replace it since i got so many. Maybe I'll send the tubes for you to powder coat for me lol.

Re: Calling aLL NY stunters and stunteresses

I just contacted some people about getting titanium tubing.
Imo its the perfect metal for the job since its so naturally springy, and stronger than everything else.

Re: Calling aLL NY stunters and stunteresses

**** I just found 7/8 solid aluminum - $20 for 10 - 10" pieces. Vortex are 11" but I'm sure that extra inch wont make a difference. I have my hb and clutch setup pushed out towards the end of my bars anyway.
