For a lip you should epoxy a piece of pipe to the tank, it's kinds like surf grip with a kick lip but doesn't give and holds you really good. I've been running mine since I got the bike and it hasn't fell off yet. If you feel like drainging the gas and cleaning the tank you can get the pipe welded on...

I think im going the epoxy route. I was talking about the same thing with MikeM yesterday and he has his f4i like yours too with a piece of pipe. Im thinking ill put surf grip on with the pipe epoxied right behind it.
