i was on a 50 for 2 years before i moved up to my old cbr600rr, i pretty much had the same gearing as you, it had fi cage few other things, the hardest thing for me to get used to when making the switch is my throttle control!!
you get a super choppy throttle hand on the fiddy, then you move to a fuel injected bike and wow, my wheelies were so jumpy for the first couple of weeks stunting it
but i didnt like the sportsbike feel, i liked stunting dirtbikes so much more, but the 50 was too small, so that why i went to the 450 and i love it!

first thing... its easy to man handle the fifty it doesnt weigh **** so dont be surprised when you realize you suck on the big bikes. brake control is great if u got that thats half the battle balance point is the next big thing cant go slow if u cant hit the balance point. jus remeber its alot more power an heavier so its gonna be totally different than the 50. but jus like everyone else on the board gotta start some where post some pics when you get it crackin
