ahh, i forgot about webber! I remember him and Jeremy back in the day killing some slow super tall stoppies. They tried to teach me but i'm stoppie retarded.

i never really was friends with webber. Everytime i was around him he was quiet. Not a real wild rider, but very smooth and precise. He could roll some stoppies on that crappy zx6. J was rocking the 900rr back then too with stock front end. OG's.

It's a hard lifestyle to keep up for a long time. I'll probably be out of the game when i start up med school in the fall. I have too much to lose as I get older.

 

did u see the viedo of webber doing 12's he started the bike back up and perfert cicles(look at the rings honk if u like webber) came out sick and funny at the same time..

 

nah, i didn't see it. I actually haven't seen any footage of him. Only thing i know about his riding is from seeing it when i was in chicago.

i saw a episode of superbikes where dmann was riding with britton and tony. but all he was doing was basic tricks but still out there

 

a question for all you ol' timers... what makes you stop riding/take years off? crashes? life ****? drama?

i couldnt imagine ever stopn, but then again im young and dumb!

 

life mostly. For some it's the injuries, others its work, others is the drama.

I haven't stopped completely but i don't travel and stay in the sport anymore because of the drama behind it. I also have medical school coming up so I don't want to risk getting hurt.

I'm sure with some of these guys as they get older their family (and children) become more important so they don't want to risk severely injuring or killing themselves. I'm only 25 and I don't see it playing a major roll in my life after 7 years of doing it. Seeing myself 35 years old with a family and going out to ride wheelies just isn't the case.

kids,is what happens, they get at an age were u start to chill w/them more. but its time 4 me to get him in the lot....(the wives always love that!!!)

 

you'll never stop riding completely....you'll just stop taking as many chances and risks, and you will want more out of it...whether it be fun or money.

age, injuries, families, other careers, gf's, etc...all contribute.

for some, the struggle is not worth it; for others, it is.

eventually everyone will settle down. i know eventually i'll stop competing or even doing shows, but i'll never stop riding, i know that for sure!....just may give up riding as much to make room for other things.

 

teach i always see u riding, but plz dont make it that bmw ur riding now...

u know teach is a stunt god, cause only he could ride something that ugly and make it look pimp!!!

35 isn't old, but it's an age i don't see myself doing crazy stuff on bikes anymore. Hell, i won't be fully finished with my residency until i'm 39.

 

how old is ac farius, like binder u will be doing whoolies in your rocker like the rest of us...u never get old of this, it will always be in everyones blood..we going be in our hover round trying to make it do whoolies...

 

I'll be riding BMW's into the sunset for sure....you guys have no idea what's in store from them!!

 

arent they making a special edition bike design around pfeiffer's bike? I hope you are having input into maybe a US model? I am a big fan of bmw's as we own about 13 bmw "projects" but all are 6volt.
