Re: Stunt park!!!new thread!! real deal
Some good ideas have been posted here, as well as in the past.
I think a dedicated stunt park may be a good idea, but as a business proposition, is a hard sell.
Look at how many dedicated skate parks have come and gone in the past. The only ones that seem to survive, also cater to people other than skaters (BMX and rollerblade to be specific).
If it was me, I would try to market the idea to appeal to as many people as possible. Since there is already a moto track there, try to branch out your idea to the masses. Think about who else needs a strip of pavement. Maybe motorcycle safety classes, drivers education, etc.
Charging admission I don't think would be enough to pay the overhead on the property. Maybe trying to get someone to open a repair shop on the premises and also offer parts and services. Anything else to try to bring in additional income.
Best of luck and I hope it works out.

Re: Stunt park!!!new thread!! real deal
stop hijacking the thread to those off topic. yeah this will have something for every level rider and tons of stuff to do. they already have insurance and coverage cause of the moto track so thats covered. yes they have food and ********. and its just like at your local spot now. im sure rules will be made to keep it as safe as possible but when dudes come out to my spot and ride power wheelies i just park it for a bit. like a respect thing and they do the same after i get done riding. and yes this will be a place of learning too!! with guys there to help you out and or a lessons kinda deal. place is huge! lights are no biggie and we have a millon plow trucks for winter haha. ***** tight....im gonna put a perposel together ....keep posting and say if youll be down to come out! this way i can print it out to show more support to get things going.
