Re: Stunt park!!!new thread!! real deal

but there would be a few problems. how would you distinguish who could and couldn't ride there. it would be incredibly dangerous to have dudes out there that don't know what there doing. yes i think a major comp may help to pay the some cost back but i've been to a **** ton of events and i've seen good turn outs and well......horrible turn outs. all of us ride for free. don't get me wrong a destination spot is fun once and a great while. stunting really isn't a huge cash cow.

if it were big enough you could have reservations and split up the parking lot with hay bales so the bikes would not skid into others. errant bikes could be a serious issue without that. unless theres an easy way to attach kill switches.

just have a beginners days when that's who's out there, maybe even get some pros that would want to be available to be hired as like a tutor...make them a little loot...or just have a couple hour or 2 windows thats for beginners

Re: Stunt park!!!new thread!! real deal

Im here in wildwood NJ not to many spots here so I ride 45min to hit an "OK" spot.... Hell I even hit up philly on sunday

I'd be down.... as long as cost was low

*Is it near a gas station?
*You would have to have a BIG lot.... to park in (LOL) trucks, shetland ponies, trailers, and RVs away from the stunt lot
*Give ppl a pit or something near the trucks so they can fix little **** that goes wrong 200miles from home
*On site bike shop-levers, lines, pegs, and fluids.......hint hint (HAI, warped toys, full throttle---Get in on this)

It can happen man... but its going to be some work to get it done "RIGHT"..... Or pave it "Ride at your own" and start hosting events for income. thats the only way its going to be up and running anytime soon

G/L keep us posted

Re: Stunt park!!!new thread!! real deal

im working with an investor right now for a spot near DFW unfortunately it is west of fort worth and most of our stunters are dallas and mid cities area. if we can find a place for this to work and work out the little details this would be a full blown opperation with season pass, onsite shop, maybe even a fill up station.

Re: Stunt park!!!new thread!! real deal

I would occasionally make a weekend trip out of it to stunt for a day and than hit up motocross on the 250. But, like said before I can ride for free 15 minutes from my house. If I were you I would hit them up to make a supermoto course.

for squids, i think it would be best to designate an area for them that is directional. they line up, make one pass at a time and once the person that just went gets past a certain spot, the next person is cleared to go.

Re: Stunt park!!!new thread!! real deal

**** I'd take a trip down.

I would casually run the idea past the company first to see if it's realistic. If they have some interest, create a business plan for them. That's when all these details will come into play. Some of the conversations already mentioned buildings etc. I would concentrate on the lot first, then accessorize.

You cant..... all you can do is let them know they are not welcome unless they are willing to SLOW down

I geuss you could try a speed limit but lets be honest how good would that really work

Re: Stunt park!!!new thread!! real deal

I AM FAMILIAR WITH BLUE DIAMOND.. VERY NICE PLACE.
I THINK MOST PEOPLE WOULD BE INTERESTED IF IT WAS SEASONAL AND INDOORS.. A PLACE FOR LOCAL STUNTERS TO GO DURING THE OFF SEASON. MAYBE THE PLACE COULD DOUBLE FOR SOMETHING ELSE ALSO....

Re: Stunt park!!!new thread!! real deal

Liability is a big issue. Having people regulated it, like said before, one pass at a time for squids is a good idea. Also, Down here, we have a few spots we ride at for free, and we're all broke, so I would probably pay every now and then to ride with some people for fun, but I dont think it would be as good as a big empty spot with two or three other friends for practice. overall, its a good idea id its a good place to ride and maybe indoors.
