sprocket for street and stunting

i'm wanting to get a new sprocket and chain set up to help me get up a bit easier, but i still want to be able to ride to the spot pretty easily, is the -1, +2 the best or would +3 work too?

the stock is 16/45 on an 03 gixxer6

any help would be awesome thanks

Re: sprocket for street and stunting

-1 in front is the same as +3 in the back.

I'd go with +10 in the back.

I like -1 +2. It's great all around gearing.

Re: sprocket for street and stunting

i always run +7 street and lot and im very happy with it. ive ridden some bikes with +10 on the street and its not bad either. +10 will take about 20% off your top end.

the drop up front is like addin 3 to the back i know ppl that stunt all day long only 3 up on older gsxr.... if you wanna do 7ish then just do 2 down in the fron if you can find one.... the fronts are alot cheaper and keepin the steel out back is good because they dont really wear......
