i can get it done anywhere from $30-$60 depending on how big your dent is mine is probably big as there gonna get! can also get paint matched colors but that costs more, i havent done a colored 1 yet and your only lookin at a few days downtime as well, you can take tank off, pay for shipping to me and return shipping as well all at once, send tank to me complete pump n all, they tape off everything but ur dent, sand it lightly with da, prep n spray the line-x and its dry in 8 seconds, i ship it back to ya same day its done. you can send check, money order, or paypal the *****

like everyone else said, have that **** welded/brazed, then bondo it!

I've only ever had one tank


I have 3 brazed holes on my tank, 2 welded holes, and my **** doesn't leak and you can't see where its brazed/welded...

 

i dont think there is a for sure way not to get a crack/leak... i use a rounded rubber mallet on all the tanks ive done... i did my f4i and its got a crack where they seamed it together from factory... i beat in 2 of my buddys tanks.05-06 636 no leaks or cracks... then did an 07-08 and it leaks around the cap.. ... i think its all luck on a crack or leak!!! SAY **** IT.. BEAT IT!!! ANY LEAKS OR CRACKS USE JB WATER WELD!!!

 

Yeah you're probably right, but maybe if you can get the tank warm somehow without worrying about gas/fumes it's probably more malleable

 

I used a rubber mallet and had no cracks but i am 219lbs so after jumping to spreaders, froggers and others my tank started to bend more and cracked. I got tired of have gas leaking all over my *** and after about ten minutes that **** burns.

So I grinded down to bare metal, had it welded, fiberglassed over that to stop it from bending more and bondo over that to make it nice an smooth. **** is the bizness now.

 

ok sounds good just let me know pm me and ill give u my number and we'll talk about it!!! and dont trip, if it cracks i work in the welding field and can fix that no problem, somtimes they crack sometimes they dont, no biggy. and yes you will need to send me cap and key to, its best to dent with the cap on
