correct me if im wrong but i think 4 grand is a fair price. otherwise i would just spend around a thousand or less and sell it for 5. bought it a couple months ago for 5 grand and put about 800 miles on it. all plastic is 100 % mint and it was lowered i raised it back up.

 

but im not for sure im selling it as is. i think its a fairly simple fix with valves. have not had time to open her up and look yet tho. its not a stuntbike its definately a street bike. its a 2004

was it a stunt bike? mine is a clean titled clean streetbike lol. ill buy a motor for less than a grand and sell the bike for atleast 4500 before i give it away like that. thats just me tho

 

got my 05 with a clean title and barely scratched up for 2700 bro.. you got took!

i'll hella pass on 4k, i was thinking more in the teens.

 

I got my bike to smoke like hell after wheelie....get a catch can and/or the cleen air mod,....BELIEVE me if you hydrolocked it you'd know cause the engine wouldn't be turning over period! if the cam chain skipped, that sounds like the most common problem with automatic chain tensioners....if you think it's a hydro lock, pull the plugs and try to turn it over....either way sounds like a chain,valves and or pistons/con-rods. have fun with that, i'm into a tranny job on my bike but the whole case had to be cracked open so I'm into checking everything over from my two hydrolocked experiences..

 

its not hydrolocked. i know that. fairly confident it was tensioner that skipped a tooth or 2 and possibly caused bent valves but not sure yet. im not sellin the damn thing the way it is and i sure as hell wont sell it in the teens. you guys are on a whole different page buyin and sellin bikes than i am. i sold a 99 gix 600 bike in a box that needed a crankshaft for 1700. im not sellin a 04 636 like that at all. lol nevermind carry on stuntlifers. but if anyone has online manual for 03-04 636 it would be greatly appreciated!
