Yea, those conservatives are a crazy bunch of people. What right do they have to want to keep their money for themselves? I wish there were more liberals out there so we could get even more tax money to support low-life ***** that dont want to work.

Re: Gas Prices

The gas stations here got tired of changing the prices I guess because most of the signs are blank. I did see a wide variety of prices though $3.89, $4.39, $4.59 and all of them were packed

Re: Gas Prices

gas is approximately $3.80 around here, but they said we are supposed to jump $2 really fast.

yesterday, the local tower mart had gas for $1.99 a gallon in honor of 9/11, but were "advised" by the police to shut down (change prices back to normal) by 2:30pm, because traffic was out of control (backed up 3 blox) with people trying to get petrol.

i'm going on a conservative estimate on anwar and offshore production caplibilities...it obviously isn't going to be enough to bring us back to 1999 but it would help a lot more then the......2 or 3 cents in 10 years democrat talking point

Besides that who is to say the the oil they want to drill for in ANWR is sweet crude to begin with? If it is sour crude, it would only cost that much more to refine it to get low sulfur fuels out of it and then the refineries would be wanting more money for processing...
i can see OPEC trying to balance out any new supply but you have to remember china and a lot of 2nd world countries subsidize fuel which is more of a market force then a bunch of pissed off americans...OPEC definitely is playing games but just the other day saudi arabia walked out of a OPEC meeting that wanted to lower production quotas to keep the price high.

where did you get this info?

i forgot what i was watching, but they were talking about making the saudi's lower their PPB (price per barrell), by threatening to take away the protection that the US provides for them. i thought it was a pretty good idea.

Re: Gas Prices

Well when I got gas after work at 5 it was still $3.89, but they had jumped gas earlier this week so there was no mad rush for the pumps... whether or not it is up tomorrow is to be seen... the bitch of this all is that gas is jumping up to what the speculators were saying at the beginning of summer, with prices up near $5 they will only need to lower it close to $4 before people start dealing with the price. Then all this bitching will start all over again next year when gas companies can get the price to jump to $6 or $7 only to lower back down to $5... it will never end

Local news just said all the gas stations have to exhaust their current fuel before the price jump can be made. They said most stations will have new fuel within 24-48 hours. It's expected to be $5+, but they can be fined for spikinig prices too high. Like 5 isn't high enough...goddamn

Fill up bitches :YEAH
