Re: Wheelies in FL

Here in PA the first time you get caught you loose your license and up to 5 grand in fines. For the "first" time.........

I asked myself is this worth it? Hell yeah. Even though my bike tops out at 104 with a draft off someone

Re: Wheelies in FL

wheelies are cracked down to the north too.. not bad enough that we have such a short season.. u get pulled over minimum $2000 maximum $10,000 fine.. 7 day bike impoundment, 7 day license suspension, 6 points on the license (license is gone after 9 as far as I know).. second time.. you have to pay $10,000 automatically, impoundment for longer, license lost until you can explain to a panel WHY you deserve to keep your license. There are more important things to deal with than wheelies, but we're an easy target.. if we stop.

Man Are you f'king serious?! This new florida law is crazy too!
I'm sure there are multiple offense drunk drivers that have injured and killed people with lighter sentences than this crap! maybe thats a slight exaggeration, but I hear about child molesters on the news getting probation and ****, and they are going to throw f'king stunters in jail!
WTF! crazy

Re: Wheelies in FL

yea my fiend on his 07 r6 got pulled over the other day on his bike on mcnight doing a bunch of small power wheelies and the cop asked what happened and he was like " i kept trying cause i was trying to hit the balance point" what an idiot. and yes it is 6 points on your licence for doing it once. and a nice hefty fine. hes got court in 2 weeks for it. its such that there gunna give us that ****. but im good with most of the cops here in the RT so im hoping that i can get away with a few " what are you doing?! are you trying to kill yourself? im telling your mother" then itl be like but a few cops that are gunna take it to the limit. whitey, comb over carle, and steven hawkings. there gunna give me life imprisonment if they can. and one of em's a bike cop!

Re: Wheelies in FL

ive been clocked at 135 on the howard frankin bridge in tampa, didnt know till i got home a cop knocked on my door later that night. i got away with that, they couldent prove it was me riding it! But i wonder if the cops roll in on a spot if they could give you this fine? Also i wonder if that inproper tag placement law is in affect too? it was going to have the same fines and punishment as the wheelie one.
