a friends girl has a 2000 and we took it out once and could only got it to top out at 86 mph

 

i went down to the local kawi dealership thinking i could cash one out for around 4k 2months ago. boy was i in for a surprise the price went up to almost 7k out the door. if the price had stayed the same as the old ones id be on that ****, but for that much id rather buy a clean used 636 or 600rr.

 

I was reading a cycleworld mag today about the 09 , they said it was alot better than the previous models but I was surprised to see it only had 17hp.

gse nick, look into the new version of the katana, its called the gsx650f, its got like 70hp and weighs about the same as the ninja,looks decent too

 

the ninja 250 is the best selling kawi, thats why they tax that ****, read that in cycleworld also
