Not sure which crash but aparently I broke my SI cage, still seems pretty sturdy, think I should weld it up now or wait till it actually seems to be weakened?

Really not sure how I broke it, hav'nt even dropped it off the 12 onto the cage, looking at how it broke I'd say just a fluke random high carbon spot in the steel or something.

Welding is a VERY easy Process.. Find a friend that has a MIG

Hell for the price of a new cage you could buy a mig welder

anyways.. Sand it.. To erase any "contaminents" only real welders know what the **** that means

Then weld it !! haha. Dont jb weld it.. wont hold the brute force of a drop.. but a MIG weld will hold.. and even from a newb welder..

ha I'm a plumber.......I can weld no prob, just hate taking it off the bike to weld it but it'd be a bad idea to do it on the bike /shrug.
