Ok first off i didn't want to do this..
But yeah i was sponsored by Ian for a good time.
And yeah i reped his stuff 100%
Now i came across bending his 636 cages left and right! Also i do believe a lot of other people have the same problem with this cage as i did not say anything when they posted up about it..Just look at the cage i just saw at XDL on sick ricks bike..
Also had problems with him returning calls towards the end..
Im not a stuntlife gangster so im not going to research and pull everything up.
Anyway i found someone who had a better product imo and went with it after waiting on ian to call me back about a talk we were supposed to have!

I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT A "TALK" WE WERE SUPPOSE TO HAVE. I PAY PEOPLE TO TALK ONTHE PHONE AND HANDLE THE RIDER ACCOUTNS SO I CAN DO WHAT I HAVE TO DO. OOPS.. CAPS LOCK. Anyhow, no hard feelings Dan. We find weak points, and we address them. Thats what we do. The problem with the 636 cage has been fixed.

 

No prob. The talk was the text you sent me saying that i had received a good deal of product and we needed to talk i said ok and waited to talk to you but no reply.

 

I don't care dude because Ian is my friend, and I thought you were, I was just pointing out that you only scream and holler for who gives you the free ****, kind of nullifies it in my opinion. Not very professional to be flip flopping sponsors - for someone that is on the professional level, so were you lying in previous posts that you claimed nothing was better and you never had any problems? If so that kind of waters down your opinion on your new sponsor too.
I don't know the story between you guys, that's not really my business - but I know you got taken care of better than anyone on the SI team.
I'm a "stuntlife gangster" because I took 25 seconds to point out what you were saying a few months ago?



Some of these "pros" need to tighten up the business aspect of their game because they will end up screwing themselves out of big sponsors some day. Just some friendly advice from someone that is in the business world.

As for the pointing things out yes.. Hell i cant remember what threads i posted in and you pull them up and all the quotes in 25 secs..
Yeah i consider us friends unless you don't.

you might want to re think that on the 636. they s bend bad the cage is designed for a f4i with closer motor mounts i was a huge fan till i went thru 3 si cages then went tygershark best cage ever for teh 636:YEAH

sorry ian you make a great product but for the 636 not so much

 

ummm scott you are aware that when all those post were made tygershark did not exist right??? can you really hate on the guy for switching to represent the best product out for his brand and model of bike??? maybe you just represent who ever even if theres better **** just cause they are your so called friends but id hold way more respect for the rider only willing to stand behind the best not the bs

oh and i can send you the pics of the 3 SI cages i S bent so bad i had to cut them off and 2 only lasted a week before they were trashed

and ive seen more issues with those cages as the newer batches came out i would doubt that hes been cuttin cost but who knows

 

I guess until proven wrong on the SI cage for the 636 I stand by it, I know if I have any problems with it Ill call Ian and get it right So far so good though, its taken a couple hits and has held up great.....Thats like the Powers cages, had one one my last 636 and didnt have a problem out of it.......the SI cage for the 636 was redesigned, which one did you have? the older version or the newer version? People should addess which version they had bend on em cause if Im not mistaken even Tygershark cages for the 636 were garbage until they added the crossbar, but like said that was the older version

 

your right about the tygershark needing the crossbar but it was never garbage just needed the extra support below because of the distance from motor mounts

and i went thru 3 SI cages in a yr (new version)i got my tygershark a few mths back after i was done wasting money ian only warranties welds
TYGERSHARK HAS A FULL LIFETIME WARRANTY BENDS BREAKS CRACKS WELDS WHATEVER and its only $100 more so lets do the math 3 SI cages will cost you roughly $800 per yr or 1 tygershark $300 for the life of your bike

I don't know about 636's, but my SI cage for my f4i took 3-4 HARD pancake falls the last time I rode. The kind of drops that even a cage shouldn't protect 100%. Picked my bike up and rode away. I think Villa has a few of them on tape. Made believers out of a few people that day.

 

I love how everyone is so sensitive about their favorite cage companies

 

hey mouse trap tygershark has only been none on the esat coast for less then a yr and for the other tool calling tygershark an FI cage get real i wont even hit that subject

 

talked to ian today and he's TOTALLY taking care of things, way beyond what I expected. If we were in prison together I'd totally protect him in the shower.

Ian's always seemed like a stand up guy. Had his cage and round bar on my 600RR with no issues. Everything on my F4i has been homemade and designed stronger than any cage I've seen made.....though prolly not looking as good tho, which I could care less about. My cage designer should sell his design to Ian, so he can have an F4i Diesel cage for those who abuse their bikes even more.
