Started repainting my F4i again...
Re: Started repainting my F4i again...
that copper, white, black scheme is the hotness!!! i gott say though, gold and copper go together like ketchup popsicles and white gloves.........THEY DONT!!! if i were you i would paint the wheels and forks copper, black or white. just not gold. thats my only negative comment though, maybe get the passenger seat coverd with that design too so it doesnt break up the colors on the tail. the rest of it looks sick!!! cant wait to see it with the tank and mids done too!!

that's funny. You couldn't find my house! oh wait..
I forgot I gave you my address! LOL Want me to pay you on the next sidejob in OMR products?? Hmmmmmmmmm. Let's see.......... I wonder how many OMR t-shirts would that take to equal your wages?? LOL
......
What's up crazy B? Thanks, and how's ur mom?
.......
Thanks for all the compliments guys!
I was wondering though what you all thought that I might have spent on doin all this to my bike? Just curious....
and I like the copper and gold
LOLI just ran out of the copper on the sides of the tank or the cream color would be outlined in copper too. haha
It's going to change eventually and I'll do somin sicker.
I can't wait to get an airbrush... maybe I can use some of my tatooing skills to lay down the hotness with a nice airbrush set up?? NO, not maybe, but definately....:YEAH.
Somebody needs to hook me up and point me in the right direction... like what the best economical A.B. set up is.... Here's a quick pic of some of my work when I used to do that for a living
Re: Started repainting my F4i again...
Thought I'd show how I fixed the tail section crack.. I found a small crack where someone had already tried to fix it before I ever owned this **** box, so it explains why the added pressure of the squeezing it off and on may have made it crack I guess..
but here's what I did and two coats of this **** and it's diesel as hell!

I drilled these holes for zip ties initially, since it was flappin every time I scraped and I cut it down some more just unevenly. but I just put masking tape over those holes and fliled them with resin on the first coat and layed the strips down on top like you do and that made little like resin pegs, or nails holding it together adding to it's strenght... I pulled off the tape and it was flush with the out side of the tail and the tape didn't stick to the resin at all....

now all I need is do some minor finish work with some glazing putty, sand, mask the rest of it off, plus paint that white, and it's good as new.
Imma go the extra mile though and do the section between the seats though and see how good it does for seat standers like that instead of buying a tailsaver.
I don't see why it wouldn't work, cuz I got one of my friends' tjat did that to his tail and it's pretty damn tough IMO...
And here's one for the ' post your funny face while wheelying pictures' thread!
LOL I'm makin the face on purpose....

Re: Started repainting my F4i again...
****.. we all were in there on our knees lookin for your combo button!
That one was actually for my wife for when she says "where is your helmet assmunch!?!?!" LOL you were right though.. shoulda left it on with the visor down.. hahahahha
Poor timing is what I'll blame it on... I think it was actually taken just milseconds before my face got 100% settled into it's intended "look".LOL It felt alot funnier when I did it, everyone was laughing, and when I look at the pic didn't even look at all like I was back on a slowish BP yet after doin my little drop down from stickin my foot through like I always do..
