Any stunt parts y'all would like to see?

I work at what used to be EPI Bodywork.. If you're OG enough you'll remember them. We used to make aftermarket ABS bodywork long before anyone else. PBR and a few other riders were sponsored and rocked the bodywork. Well, we no longer make motorcycle bodywork at all but the owners are still real interested in stunting in general and came to me today asking if theres anything stunt related we can make.. We specialize in ABS plastic but not limited to it. I honeslty can't think of anything that'd be worthwhile to make but figured I'd ask here. We could sure make some sick 600rr predented tank covers but the demand just wouldn't be there and you'd still have to dent the metal tank obviously and that'd be way too limited.

So... Anyone? Anything?

High impact PC F4i tails. Shark fin sprocket guards. Foot in seat trim rings with a high traction finish on the inside for your foot. Teach style "foot in seat" things.

Re: Any stunt parts y'all would like to see?

I'd love to make F4i tails but they're done with bodywork all together.. A few people already make shark fins and the seat trim things would be so specific to your setup I don't see how you'd mass produce them

I'd love to do bodywork again, but it's just not going to happen

We sold all the bikes we had to test fit and got rid of all the molds

Since they are fairly knowledgeable about ABS and bike body work, how about a viable repair system for standard bike plastics... easily mass produced and something a bunch of people would buy. I know I have tried everything under the sun and nothing holds up like I hope it will. I want something strong enough where the plastic will break in another place other than the repair.

Polymers are funny things. Once they are damaged and the chains are broken, it's hard to get them back up to full strength.

It's easy if you do it right

I sold a tail to a friend of mine years ago that had broken tabs.. I fixed them before I gave him the tail. That **** has broke everywhere else but the tabs are still 100% there

Well it's like $500 after shipping but yea, thats a big reason we don't make bodywork anymore. We can't compete with Hong Kong.

They would come out sick and be real nice.. Problem is, not everyone likes the same dent and I could never talk them into making something that is so specific. I know just as well as anyone else, they'd never sell very well.. Not enough to cover the cost of the mold for sure.

I was about to ask where it was $250. $550 is the cheapest I have seen for 954 bodywork.

Yea, you can find them cheap but don't forget about the shipping.

Still an awesome deal. We couldn't touch that no matter what we do

Re: Any stunt parts y'all would like to see?

it's kind of hard to think of anything worth while to make out of plastic for a stuntbike besides fairings....but if you can come up with a billet clutch perch for a msr or moose lever you'd make a killing...i'm sure you've thought of that as everybody has...lol

Yea, I'm with ya there.. Just thought I'd throw it out there since he asked me.

A Billet clutch perch would be awesome, but I dunno if they'd be down for that. I'll throw it out there though.

Re: Any stunt parts y'all would like to see?

i think the radiator brace may be the best thing u coud find for f4is, as u know it's by far the weakest point of the bike.
i thought about stators and clutch covers in some kinda ABS things, i know how strong and absorbing thos things can be, back when i used to sell mountain bikes, i often trusted more plastics protective stuff than metal ones, sure it woud prevent many broken cases with bent cages.
Some kind of tank plastic pad with a lip on the back with some good glue (still holdin when some gas come on it), i guess puttin some plastics on it may help that ****** thing not to move when u land or jump hard on the tank, so nice paints woud not be crackin there Lol
Gas caps, who may be easyer to open than vortexs, maybe plastic stuff again...
Adjustement nut for clutch levers.

i guess we coud find other ones but just some ideas i thought bout

Re: Any stunt parts y'all would like to see?

well i know street riding is not cool anymore, but for the few of us ******** that still do it. id like a james bond type system for my bike that squirts an oil slick on to the road behind me for when the cops are chasing me and maybe even something that will inject oil into the headers at will for a smoke screen....possibley even something that dumps little spikes to blow out tires?
