So visiting LA this weekend for LUVFEST <333 and took a night ride thew the city of fullerton...... Decided to attempt my first Power up, was N first gear around 8.5K at 60mph when I grabed sum throttle. i pulled up initially about 2 feet off the ground, then pulled a little more and it came right up !!!
Riding a CBR1kRR, I would rather clutch it up at a lower speed.....but taking advice as too attemping power up with less distractions. Exhilarating feeling!!

Oh ya i went to EDC..... there was wut like 60k etards there LOL. I had more fun at luvfest bc it wasnt so crowded....... Ya i read a forum here on how to power up wheelies.... but i think it was for 600's.

 

you've never read a thread in this forum about how you should power up anything. don't come in here speakin your gorilla math to us.


wheelies are fun, that's why were all here, but learn to clutch it up. That's how all the pro's and almost all the am's do it

so last time i checked a 1k at WOT will wheelie first gear with out trying. . . he probally went on youtube and watched one of the forty videos that tell you to do power ups til you get comfy with the balance.
