Re: Story Time! ME Looping Out Yesterday

ahhh the good ol days..

and as far as rear brake talk is concerned.. things happen to everyone..

I almost.. closest ive ever come without actually looping, wadded my 08 zx10 a few weeks ago rocking an old school 3rd gear 100mph standup.. i had some boots on and just didnt have a good feel for the brake.. i let off way too much and she snapped back so hard instant coaster.. bike did its sweet left right dance and somehow.. didnt flip.. (prolly cause i panic mashed for the break like a champ!)

regardless.. next time wear your gear..

first time u wreck at 90 and dont get hurt you think your invincible, dont confuse that with lucky.. ive been there... itll bite ya eventually!!

hope that yammy piano of yours isnt too destroyed..

Re: Story Time! ME Looping Out Yesterday

some old school squid **** but...
second gear with no HB. bout 30 degrees out that day with wind. i could kill the highway for as many miles as my motor would hold up. 90 mph sends you slidin for a long time. not to mention its alot easier to end up in the backseat of some old ladies car. wear your gear man!

I heard that these are less than 45 mph with no jacket. (don't ride with no front fender) I'm calling BS 90 mph would do some serious damage.

Re: Story Time! ME Looping Out Yesterday

i dont use the rear brake much on the freeway these days, i went from streets to lots for 2 years, just got back to streets and it's throttle controll and a few taps here and there, cause i rode the brake at 65mph in 3rd and within 2 miles my rear rotor had 7 small cracks all over it

Um ya

And wrecking at 90mph will really get your adrenalin pumping

is it smart, no...

It's fun to kill the highway, but cmon, if you can't control your bike, you need to slow it down tell you can... looping at 90mph because of a 'gust of wind' obviously shows me the guy shouldn't be wheeling at 90mph

Re: Story Time! ME Looping Out Yesterday

wear gear. its never worth it. it gives u more confidence to do tricks when u know even if u fall ur protected. adreaneline pumping or not, dont try stuff 10x over ur skill level. push the envelope , dont open it.
