Re: stunting as career

One of my friends rides on this team http://www.ballofsteel.com/1.html not the exact same as stunting but close enough.

I don't want to say an exact amount per show but its not cheap. Right now there in europe making more it really depends on each show there always alittle different so they charge more or less depending on alot of things. They have 3 main riders right now and then the guy on the microphone then the audio guy that sets up all the music and stereo equipment. They have a very orgainzed and professional show. Divided just between those guys the money gets smaller fast. If you clicked the link you can see they have some big money sponsors, its not cheap to run 3 big trucks and trailers across the country then food, hotels etc..

Basically each show takes about 15min they usually do 3-4 shows at each location. starts out with a wheelie show then goes into the ball show then they hit the ramp and do the freestyle stuff then the main guy does a few backflips at the end, then autographs once the shows over.

Honestly this is as far as i think stuning will go and as big as it will get you can do what these guys do maybe alittle more for a very select few riders out there. Stuning isn't anywhere near what fmx is. There just not enough tricks that are possible on flat ground on a motorcycle. People get tired of seeing circles stoppies highchairs 12's no hands etc.. As hard as alot of these tricks are, to someone that knows nothing about the sport its nothing to them and will never compare to a dirtbike 40ft in the air upside down with the rider hanging off the bike.

Dude They're Ride Minibikes. You Might Think Stunting Is At As Far As Its Gonna Go.yet Every Year It Gets Bigger And Bigger With People Coming To Shows And Supporting. With Fmx They Basically Are Doing To Same Tricks To Wow Backflips With A Nac Nac. Alot If Riders Come From Dirt To Pavement. They Get New Tricks Just Like We Come Up With New Stuff. People Have And Are Getting Tired Of Seeing Backflips To. What Gonna Be There Next Trick. Only One Guy As Attempted The Front Flip In Air. Maybe Somebody One Day Will Attempt Beating Kane 135mph Stoppie

ride for fun and if more opportunities present themselves, seize the moment...
