ZX636 did 100m wheelie died, oil went in engine and exhaust system HELP!
I wheelie the bike for 100m for the first time and it cut the engine. Brough the bike down rough (lucky didn't fall). When I looked at the oil it had gone down and into the resorvoar for excess oil full. It didnt want to start but later we clicked it on gear pulled the rear wheel 3 strong knock back to clear so oil and started the bike. Burned all the oul in the exhaust and engine (white smoke) and now it runs fine after adding oil to the correct oil. But i am afraid to stand it up again so it doesnt do the same thing. ANY1 HAD THAT PROBLEM? AND WHAT COULD IT BE? THANKS!

the filter was new KnN and the box is clean as i openned it now (i cleaned the air filter aswel from the oil which went in) but there is no reason exccept it has been past the vertical. all it did was a fat cloud of smoke and the engine cut out)lucky i didnt fall) is there anything possible to be done so it doesnt do that thing? do I have to put a bigger reservour for excess oil and then refill? I have never seen it on any other 636. But yes ive cleaned now everything but it was clean before that.

clean air mod like they said make sure to pull the plugs and blow all the oil out it will probably run like **** for a while after you get the oil out but then it should quit smokin eventually and run good!!!

ok all was fixed but what i don't understand now is WHY it did the whole thing and if it is normal HOW TO PREVENT it. thanks guys

I want to stunt the bike there must be some modification needed so it can run and not give me that problem

Dude, they have told you at least 3 times what to do already,
KLEEN AIR MOD. look it up.
I never did the mod to mine and I never once had a problem, maybe you're filling it up with too much oil.

I have a 05 636 and ya it ALWAYS did that everytime I would highway wheelie it. Basically its a kawi, if you run wheelies at high rpm it will always do that till you hydro lock your ****.
Ride lower rpm and you wont have any issues. if ya wanna do 80km/h + wheelie better use 2nd gear on a 636

I also have that problem. but what is air mod? more oil less oil to be riden with? and not to fill the filter with oil. there must be somethiong donenot the engine to run out of oil and is that modifecation the air mod (what is it?)

like old man roger says , you need to have kleen mods done a s a p thats the first thing that needs to be done first before you stunt an 636.

okay you need to remove the airbox and reroute new hoses to hook up before the oil goes into carb and have the motor locked up.

ok fine, HOW DO YOU DO IT, WHAT DOES IT FUNCTION , how it looks how to fit etc. ive cleared all the oil and crap around airbox and everywhere it runs fine but that kleen air is what i am not clear with

clean air mod stops oil from going in your airbox and back into your motor and reroutes it to go into your exhaust which is better than hydrolocking your motor like you did. your lucky you didnt crack your block or throw a rod better check your motor over real good and do the mod asap
use the search mode in the toolbar for 636 clean air mod

You will be doing away w/ the kleen air system. You will have to remove the pair valve, plug off a couple of lines and reroute a hose.
