New stunter..where do i start??
Re: New stunter..where do i start??
MAn i SAY STUNT WHAT YOU GOT. DON'T EVEN WORRIE ABOUT GEARING UP DA 900 KAWI. YOU GONNA HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THAT. IT'S GONNA BE HELLA TWITCHY AND WAY TO MUCH POWER. YOU CAN SLOW DOWN A STOCK BIKE
JUST TAKES REAR BRAKE CONTROL AND A LOT OF PRACTICE. :YEAH
AS FOR THE CAGE YOU MIGHT HAVE TO GET A CAGE MADE, BUT 905 MIGHT HAVE ONE FOR IT.
BUT FOR REAL IF YOU WANT TO REALLY GET INTO STUNTIN YOU GOT TO GET A BEATER 600. SUMIN YOU WON'T CRY ABOUT IF YOU ADD A LIL ASPHALT CUSTOMIZATION.
CUZ EVERBODY DROPS THIER BIKES

+1 on how to and also just go to a parking lot with a friend and try some **** we can sit here all day and tell you how but you still wont know how to do it fits all about experince trial and error
Re: New stunter..where do i start??
Pretty much like everyone else has said, if you wanna stunt out the kawi, your gonna want some protection.
Crash cage (for starters)
No sprocket upgrades yet
Learn how to clutch the wheelie, instead of powering through it...
Make sure you take off all parts you dont want getting destroyed. Little stuff like fairings, headlights, taillights etc.... things of that nature...
DO NOT GET A 12 BAR!!! Your not ready for it, being new to stunting. Reason I say this is for two reasons...
1) It can hurt you in so many different ways since you dont really know how to ride just yet
2) It will be easier smashing your tail and more forgiving than a 12 bar if you go back too far and not brake enough (refer back to 1)
Also, if your not familiar with using your back brake while in a wheelie, I would suggest trying to learn how to ride a fiddy, learn the basics of back brake control as well as throttle control. Then, once your comfortable there, switch it up to the big bike.
It all depends on how much effort you wanna put into this sport too. Wear your helmet, gloves, back protector, kneepads and elbow pads if you want. Depends on how much skin you prefer losing...(dont worry, it will happen)
That should pretty much get you started.....

Re: New stunter..where do i start??
tons of good info on here man.
The biggest thing like posted above is seat time...get out there and do it..take it slow at first and get used to where your BP is at..stock sprocket sizes should be fine for you now...900's have plenty of power. Just dont be pissed when u crash cuz its GONNA HAPPEN...most likely ALOT. but its part of the game..
I'd Say atleast get frame sliders..they are more readily available for rare stunt bikes than cages and will help alot when u drop it. all in all just stick to it...WEAR YOUR GEAR and cover that rear brake (be ready to use it).
Good luck and happy stuntin'!
