Re: undenting front rim

MC Wheel is where it's at. Dented my front rim last year and decided to try to get it fixed before looking for a new one. I found MC Wheel online and gave them a call. The guy Noah who owns it is a good guy and knows what he's doing. I think I ended up paying like $150 for it to be fixed but it was a pretty diesel dent to begin with. Place is located in Swanzey, NH...not sure how far that is from you, but I took the 2.5 hour drive from northern MA to get my **** fixed.

Good luck with that **** bro.

Re: undenting front rim

I have the same problem. The dented rim holds air for an hour or two then needs air again. If I decide to buy an ebay rim, which models are interchangable for an 02 F4i? Are the RR rims the same?

Re: undenting front rim

if you mannage to get the wheel off by yourself, it is not to hard to fix... one way with the tire off is to set wheel between a table vice with jaws open where it is bent out... and have 2 rubber peices over the metal jaws... then have another person tap it in or out witchever your case with a rubber mallet or a BFH and a hunk of old tire rubber over the bent part (with rim cold)... i have fixed about 5 wheels that way and worked great and never had a prob with it again...

Get on ebay.. and order yourself a Rim.. call a local shop and ask them what other models are inerchangable...

Dont believe because something says..

"FITS 01-02-03" that its going to fit your "03" and its a ''01''

I gave a dip **** NEGATIVE FEEDBACK on his ebay account thing for ******* posting something wrong.. he made a big deal about it but that " power seller" learned his ******* lesson!!!

Also. GOOGLE " BIKE JUNK YARDS" you can usualy find a rim thru them.. they can tell u condition of a rim n such..

A scratched rim is still a good rim !!

as for what iv said.. thats pretty bold.. only way to go so jus do that..

Keep your current front rim for the lots.. its mad easy to change out a rim every time u goto the lot if your not too worried about poppn a caliper off each time

just my 2 cents thO!

Send it back...

Unless you want to mount a tire, get it balanced.. Run it in some twistys to see if it really is straight.. That can be dangerous..

ITs a pain in the ***.. YOUR CALL.. but youd have to take the tire off when u send it back and he might be a dick if u scratched it up..

So **** it send it back my opinion..

But it could quite possibly be kinda unnoticeable with a good tire balance

so im kinda like on this one.. But Personaly I would return it assuming its a very noticeable "Defect" but also im not there.. I cant see if its too minor or not..

taking from whats said does that help at all?
