stunt an every day
i have an 05 gixxer 6 with -2 in the front and i had it all parkinglot with +15 but i had no top end and now i put it back to stock to i can have an everyday rider. but im putting the -2 back on the front and was wondering what yall think i should put on the back i was thinking either +2 or +3 to go with a 520 chain. what do yall think would that be ok or should i go up more in the rear? remember i have -2 already there.

Most aftermarket setups like Driven Racing and stuff run a -1/+1 or +2. If your keeping the -2 on the front I would doa +2 in the rear max if your looknig for close to stock and an everyday rider.

its not that im looking for a close to stock app. i mean im not out there trying to do 150 mph or anything so losing a lil top end wont hurt any. but at the same time im not tryin to top end at like 80mph i just want an app were i can stunt with no problems and i can use it daily to get to and from work or just ride out to the spots

all my bikes have been everyday riders, i rarely use my truck. and i had -1 +5 on my r6 which was fine and -1 +3 on my rr and +7 on both my 636's and all of those gearings work great for street and lot.

I had an 05 gsxr 600 and i went -2/+3 and it was awesome. I never tried to top it out but it would still go to about 135 easy. The gearing i had was perfect for 3rd gear highway wheelies :YEAH.

One down and 6 up on my 636. Drive 20 miles to and from work everyday and stunt. I am thinking about running -1 and +4 to get the rpms down a bit more. 60mph is around 6500 rpm. Little more than I want it to be.

It was awesome at the lot, i just wasnt a big fan on my gsxr as a lot bike i just didnt like the feel of it, i got my Kawi and i love it. Its -1/+7 still runs awesome on both the street and the lot.
