i actually go by the push it in with my foot test. push the rear in an inch and that means you need more air.

Tire pressure depands a lot on the tire, the weight of the bike and your own weight.
I ride with Continental Road Attack in the rear which has a very stiff steel belt, when i just change a tire i have to put it 1.3bar/19psi and after a while put in some more up to 1.7bar/25psi

Recently i tried the new Conti Motion which has a much lighter steel belt and i could put that one in 2.0bar/30psi right away.

for everyone runnin +30 in the rear doesnt that make straghit line combos a bitch? ive got a mic pilot power and with 30 plus i cant do straghit line for anything
