so no one has pics of a gusseted 636 frame?
one term for it is fish plating. make some plates of aluminum that go at least 2 inches past both sides of that front weld. make it welded on the front cast steering stem and welded on the back part to the spar of the frame. same with the motor mounts. make some plates up that you contact the motor mount area and make it come up on the frame spar some too.

so the problem with all cracked 636's is jus cracks on welds?
i fugured the actual cast part broke?!

Ive seen the ear tabs break and the necks snap off but in reall hard crashes and accidents. So plate the neck and gusset the ear tabs and you should be ok. Call me I'm off work!!!
