905 your killing me

I’m really sick of these cage companies that think they don’t have to do **** for the people that buy their products.

I purchased a cage from 905 a few years back for my tl1000r. when I got it the cage I had all kinds of problems.
the holes on one side did not line up. one of the bolts would not go in the back hole that mounted to the frame due to the welding.
this was 3-4 years ago. I needed it on so I made it fit. i bent the cage and drilled the back mount to make the bolt fit

the cage was always a bitch to get on and off so I sold it.
I then decided to buy a set of race rails...Its been 3 years.. figured I wouldn’t have a prob

For one it took a while to get it. on their website they show that the rails come with a set of sliders ... no sliders.
the bolts they supplied are too big.
the head of the bolt is almost the same size as the hole that I’m supposed to put it in.... so how the hell can I fit the socket in there.

Its just ******* irritating. I expect to get a product and not have to run to the store to replace parts off of it

RANT OVER!!

They are the only ones that make one for the tiller.. otherwise S.I. would have been my first choice

Re: 905 your killing me

I just recently got one from them for my 600rr. lined up perfectly. dropped the bike twice already and it held up great. I like their new design.

yea. with the sliders you don't have the old issue with the cage rolling over onto the tank like it used to. it hasnt even touched the cage yet cuz of the slider on both drops.

Re: 905 your killing me

I think they dont make the tl ones often so they just had an old set w/o any sliders so they shipped it off

Re: 905 your killing me

if you had a 905 cage and it sucked, then why would you buy 905 rails?
