on his truck. im wanting some new rims for my dodge and getting a bigger lift on it but the wheels and **** in the uk are ****. but dans truck is sick and thats what look i wanna go for. so whats the name of the tires and wheels to? are they dirt tires?

be prepared to lose at least 2 mpg by putting that big of rims and tires on, not to mention the extra stress

If you want to call them that. they have an offroad lug patter, but with that big of a rim they are pretty much useless for real offroading.

Yes, unless you have a diesel I wouldn't even think of doing it without regearing to 4:56's. You need at least 6" of lift on a superduty to clear 37's.

 

Ok first things first, like niner said, do you have a diesel or is it just a standard ram?

 

it might be a bit to much strain then and to much work. its a 2000 dodge ram. ill get some pics 1 min.

 

24" inch KMC Rockstars, and I think they are 38" Kuhmo Road Venture tires. Those tires are the only way to go, they look aggresive but are relitivly quiet on the road, and Dan said he got 50k out of his tires. Billy, hit me up if you want these, I can probably get them much cheaper here for you.

nice 1 joe i just got my ram and started doing a few things to it. it aint the best truck i know but there so much more expensive over here. its being painted soon to. not the same colour but i have some ideas.

 

Depends, what is your budget? How easy is it to get "big truck" stuff over there? Can you do everything yourself? Do they salt the roads there in the winter? If so make sure you plan ahead to keep your original set.

Not being negative here, just want you to know the weak point on these trucks .....

 

i cant do nothing much myself to be fair. i got a few grand in the pipeline but ill do it bit by bit. its like rocking horse **** mate to get big truck stuff over here. put it this way it took me 6 months to get engine parts for my s10.

youll never believe how much that ram cost me to.

 

First thing I would do is find a good ram forum ..... I would not alter the suspension lift if you don't have access to a lift capable of holding your truck, it really gets to be a lot of work. Do you have a list of mods you want and in what order? Are you just going strictly cosmetic?

 

Yeah, stuff is expensive there for sure in the uk! I can get you anything you need, just let me know. I think 20's on 34's would be plenty on that, 24's would be a bit much I think...
