929 street bike sprocket choice

i was wondering which size of sprocket
the most of the people here have on
there 929.
good for street/stunt without losing to much top speed.
so no 60 rear sprocket or so...
who can give me good tips?

-2 should be good. That's my plan for the 954 I'm buying soon.

Re: 929 street bike sprocket choice

deff dont need any gearing at all for street riding n u can lot it wit stock gears also but DEFF dont do -2... it eats the chain away.. if ur gona do -2 just go + 5 in the rear instead...

Re: 929 street bike sprocket choice

I ran -1 +2, -2 +2, -2 +5 & currently running -1 +5 and it is great for highway and track. Speedo is off around 12-15 mph around 6K. You can fix it by buying a speedo-healer.

what do you mean with : "eats the chain away" ????
is it bad for the chain?

your forcing the chain to go around a tinny lil sprocket up front, thats why its better to go bigger in the rear,
