DONT RIDE WITH NO FRONT FENDER!!!!!!!!!!!!. I picked up a 04 636 two days ago and it dosnt have a front fender, i was practicing sit down 0 then stalling them and going to straight line sitdown . I SET DOWN THE WHEELIE AND THE BRAKE LINE COUGHT THE TIRE AND LOCKED IT UP. I went down hard and seperated my ac in my shoulder, **** hurt and i cant lift my arm. **** sux because as soon as i got the bike i could do things like sitdowns 0 and combo 0 that i couldnt do on any other bike. I LOVE THE BIKE AND NOW I CANT RIDE . BUT for real i think the bike comes with stunter DNA installed

 

never heard of that before, but my motard would make people throw up if i took the front fender off so ill take your advise and leave it on

THANKS MANGS, but i cant stress it any more this is my bike. i feel at home and so comfortable on it . minus the whole fender thig and yeah i always have to learn the hard way

When I used to rock no fender, I zip-tied my brake lines to where the fender hooked up to so it wouldn't get caught in the tire.

how does the fender stop the lines from getting caught

I ran no fender on my gixxer for like 3 months and just put one on a couple of days ago because of all the stories I've heard lately. Sorry to hear you crashed man.

the bolt goes through a fitting block on the brakelines, then through the fender so it keeps it all tight and in place...

i have a similar story.. i came down from a wheelie with my foot on the front fender... cracked it.. pushed the fender into the tire.. locked up the tire.. thrown over the bars.. ate ****.. and did a small seperation in my ac.. **** hurt like a ***** *****.. and it still hurts now and that was 6 weeks ago!!
