Re: Major Warning
what else sucks is riding with no front fende in the rain.
the water sprays right in your face.
its like and angry drunken midget giving you a golden shower as your riding.
**** all that

Re: Major Warning
Sorry to hear about your accident bro heal up quick. Keep them shoulders back so you can have a good recovery.
I Did the exact same thing, rode without a fender on my 05 636.
Was going for my first endo for the day, Picked up the rear and just before BP I heard a "SQAWK" and next thing I know I'm sliding down the pavement!
It happened so damn fast I couldn't think about it.
Luckily I had all my gear on even elbow pads that day cause I wanted to try out endos with my new MX bars.
My gear was rashed and it knocked the breath outta me but no major harm luckily.
I couldn't figure out what happened when I checked the bike everything looked fine. Sooo I hopped back on and decided to do some O's since the endos were gonna be deadly for sure.
I set it down kinda hard saving a slight high side and the front locked again throwing me for a flip.
Still no damage but I finally figured out it was the brake line sagging down and getting sucked up by the tire. Of course when it does this is squeezes the rubber line and Locks the brakes.
If you feel you MUST ride with no fender (as I did) then you can zip tie the line to the forks but the one that crosses over from one side to the other is still at risk of getting caught.
I just happened to have some extra brake lines and a double banjo and ran 2 from the master-one to each caliper and zip tied them to each fork leg all the way up to the tripple.

Re: Major Warning
^^ + 1000 What happened there? Did you endo over and get pummeled by a peg or something? I had a brake lever go through my leg about 4 weeks ago! And as far as the front fender thing I have heard about it chucking rocks through the radiator but never the locked up front. I have one on mine but damn glad I do now!
Re: Major Warning
WOW dude! Did you figure out what got ya? Also it seems like you are ok did they say there would be any permanent damage? Glad you made it out ok! I just looked at my brake lines and they were rubbed almost 1/2 way through on the street bike! Looks like they were dragging too! I have a fender the bolt just fell out I guess!
