Re: Tony D....what the hell!
Sorry dude but they got your money. You probably won't get a jack back except we are sorry your experience at are wheelie school was not exciting and you didn't learn anything blah blah letter, most lame *** business send out for shitty service.
Re: Tony D....what the hell!
I'm not sure I even want to respond to this on here. This is typical Stuntlife BS.
Mike and I were there at 7:37. (after leaving our regular jobs early in San Diego and driving all night to arrive in NorCal at almost 2am)
Most all class people were introduced to in the morning and riding started at 9am as scheduled with the EMT medical personnel.
Only 3 people left early and I'm pretty sure it was due to the egging on of zride.
There is no way a "wheelie machine" is anything like riding an actual bike on pavement! you might as well be on a quad, as you do not have to deal with any side to side issues and it is literally impossible to loop on said "machine"
The class is ran similarly to a roadrace or skydiving or any other extreme sport where you have a bit of "introductory" time and "classroom" or discussion time before the actual riding begins.
The price may seem high, but it covers the provided bikes, rental of a track or in this case part of and airport, medical services, food and drinks for the day, travel expenses and pay for instructors, which all adds up and often the classes are just breaking even, which the people who run it and us who work it are happy with just to try and help people learn an aspect of the sport that we are passionate about.
These are basic wheelie classes, designed for people who have never done a wheelie before or have tried, but want to learn more in a safer way before progressing on their own. If you even know that stuntlife exists, this is probably not a class for you.
How can you knock the opportunity to learn in a controlled environment with advice from experienced instructors. The people that actually complete these classes learn in one day what usually takes months to learn on your own. The skills learned in a such a shortened time frame is well worth the money on its own.
This is a sport that involves motor vehicles and obviously with that comes unexpected issues from time to time. We just recently (in the last couple of weeks) took over the maintenance part of this school for the West Coast. We cannot immediately be perfectly set up, unfortunately. We did have tools on hand, but unfortunately did not have a tire plug kit to repair the brand new tires that were on the bikes, Even in the short time to prepare for this class date, both bikes got oil changes, new spark plugs, brakes flushed and bled, batteries fully charged, etc.
I don't think anyone ever expects a radiator fan to fail or a fuel pump to fail and keep extras on hand at a stunt spot.
We are somewhat new to this school and it will obviously be a learning experience as we go to know how to be as prepared as possible.
I really don't understand why people that have no experience to judge from want to talk **** about those that are trying to help people learn this stuff that we all love. If this school was a joke or scam or whatever, Mike and I would definitely not be involved. What are you doing to help the sport?
There is a lot of value to what we are doing and all of the people that stuck around for all of this class and other previous classes really enjoyed the class and got a lot out of it.
I don't know how you can give an accurate assessment from a few hours experience.
We do not have the authority to make offers to person that is dissatisfied, but the people that run the school are very down to earth and are happy to work with people for a mutual resolution, Obviously this particular individual even said that he came on here immediately and before even making any attempt to discuss it with the school first.

Re: Tony D....what the hell!
fresh 12 pack
and dont even try to say that you do this wheelie school for the love of the sport. everyone knows you get paid even if someone hates it or gets killed. there is no way you are driving from san diego to the bay to break even

I think what you said was really true and seems like you guys were put in a very uncanny and terrible situation, but you never once stated how you were gonna deal with the problem of a client that wasent satisfied?

I think you put in some good effort tho, sorry about how it turned out

I do apoligize to you and Tony for flippin...And i did not egg on nobody...I was just the first who had enough. You werenot there at 737....thaT IS SOME BULLSHIT and you know it. Dude I was there at 715.....we did not get on the damn bike until after nine....and we had sit around while you guys set up.. All I know is that people who traveled wy far were not happy as well. I didnt egg on anyone.....I dont even think you or mike said one word to anyone until you started talking in group like an hour and a half into.. In case you guys were too cool to notice we were all looking at each other like .hmmmm ok! it was not that the bike broke. It was waitingh around all day for you clowns to get it together. Two rides at four minutes each and it was almost 2 an the after noon.......I had enough. I wasnot about to stand in a twelve person line to get a three minute run on your machine.
I should never have posted this and should have just ate crow. I apoligize to Tony, Sic Nate, And Mike D. The wheelie class just did not turn out like you promoted it and what I expected!

Re: Tony D....what the hell!
You should have tried to get a refund right after the two bikes broke down before making this thread. dont get me wrong i agree with you but if that was me i wouldn't have left without solving the issue.
