I know mikeonthebike did his idle mod on his F4i with the stock adjuster, he just did some small modification (cut it short etc.). I got someone that is trying to buy my 929 and the stock idle adjuster isn't working so I was gunna do the mod, but I don't have a 97 900rr cable cause I have to order it. Anyone know if I can somehow use the stock one?? and how do I do it? lol. Thanks guys

I did it to my 929... easy as hell, and works pretty good... the idle is still jumping around like a mad man, but who cares

 

just look for the screw that opens the throttle bodies and put the idle cable in there and u now have a better adjuster. That's how I did it on my f4i. As far as I know. All Honda idle cables have the same size thread just might have to be cut a lil shorter like my 600rr cable did.

same problem on my 954, the idle jumps around like a **** even at 4k, canīt ride idle longer than 5 meters, I hate that bitch....
