that sounds like a hassle to me

 

That's why i'm sooo glad my 636 was stolen. I've seen reinforced frames start cracking too

ive seen some bikes last a while with a cracked frame that was plated up.. im going to get it done this week sometime

those all 03/04s? didn't notice any black frames...

 

i heard they crack from doing stoppies and burnouts and stuff, because thats where the most stress is

 

looks like thats from settin wheelies down, if it was from stoppies/burnouts it would be cracking at the top of the frame i would think.

a buddy of mines 636 frame just cracked over the weekend. got it fixed though, lets see how long it lasts....

holy **** did it get hit by a train? mt got run into by a tow truck with no damage to the frame and that was at 40 mph

I learned from my 1st 2 636's and now am on a F4I

 

i laugh at all of you who think youre safe cuz ur riding something else, ive personally seen 600rr frames crack right at the neck, actually seen one where the neck eventually broke off. seen many f4i frames crack the cross bar as well as the lower engine supports, and r6 frames seen a bunch break the engine mounts, and dont even get me started with gsxrs. no one is immune to frame cracking, and there is no epidemic on any bike. some of you guys are worst than girls.

 

wat kinda cage did you rock on that bike? it looks identical to when i had a 905 cage on my 03, and to make you feel better i bet if you drop your motor that crack is prob going about 3-4 inches in the other direction behind the motor mount....on that frame i ahad my mechainc cut off the motor mount and re-weld anohter one on and it was strong as can me....1000s of super hard hit including my wreck at stuntwars 2 years ago and that was about 60mph right to the pavement and about 3 flips later, no damamge..'

also throw my bike too many times to count with my FI cage including my forks snapping on me at about 50 and not a single hint of a cracked frame...

and like sdkillz said every single bike is vunable to frame brakeage, bike ARE NOT MADE to be stunted so the abuse is gonna show sooner or alter on EVERY made and model of bike...

but if you guys want to think the 636s are trash every1 sell them, means more and cheaper parts for me
