I just got a rear hand brake set up for my 95 cbr900.. I got it hooked up, but when I use it, the brake doesn't lock up all the way.. Any problems I need to look out for when using one of these? Or anything I need to check again to make sure it's working right? i just figured that the handbrake would work better than the footbrake, not worse. do i need to buy the kit with the dual calipers? any help is appreciated.

 

u still gut air in it , keep bleeding till u feel stiff then stop.

 

re-bleed. did the footbrake lock up b4?

 

yeah the rear brake locked up before if i used a lot of pressure. i'll try bleeding it again and see what happens.. thanks for the help

The 900rr rear brake alone isn't all that great to begin with, like you said to lock it up took a lot of presure and when you ad the hand brake forget about it even worse. I would match up another rear master cylinder from another bike 929,954 ,f4i mabey you can line up a kawi. Just get it to fit then do your setup and watch the difference.

 

what kind of master are you using?
