SBFMC - Bumper is a decent person
cutting idle screw

hey guys...im putting an idle screw on an 07 600rr and i gotta cut the screw down so that it clears the motor. this is a dumb question but...what are ya'll cuttin it with? i dont wanna **** up the threads. thanks

do u have a die grinder and a vice? use black tape to mark where u wanna cut it, and just sling that bitch down

and put a nut on it too , it will help the threads after you cut it ...

i use a band saw then i ground the end with a bench grinder to make it thread in easy

go to www.600rr.net, theres some guy on there that just did it in the stunter forum ...... title was like 08 stunner

easiest way is like OMR said.. put a nut on it, cut it, then thread the nut back off..

+1 but anything will work dremel, grinder, air cut off wheel, bench grinder, **** i used a hack saw one time hell try a butter knife
and oh yeah! DONT CUT IT TO SHORT!!!!!
