ive got a Q about putting the lights on a switch

ive got a Q about putting the lights on a switch

ok home dogs

ive got a 03 636 and i wanna put the headlights on a switch so i can go stealth in a lot

how would i go about that?

can i splice a switch into the headlight wiring or do i need a relay so it wont melt or do some weird ****

how did you put yours on a switch?

how did you put yours on a switch?
kawi head lights are different then most ,when you turn them off you need to hit the starter button to get them to come back on so i suggest you wire them from scratch if you want to turn them off and on while riding

i had a switch wired but i didn't like the way i had to hit the switch then hit the starter button to get the lights back on so i disconnected the switch and now when im just riding in the lots wich is most of the time i just pull out my head light fuse .....

if i hook just a normal switch up to the headlight it wont melt or catch fire will it?

you just need a switch that can handle the amperage of the headlights

get a switch that is at LEAST 10amps at 12v

just use your stock high/low switch, thats what i always did, super ninja.
