Thats normal i think! I ride one of them bikes like 6-7 hours a day in heavy traffic and 100 to 106 is the normal temperature for the bike(Celsius that is)! The fan would start at 106 and stop when its down to 102!

Unless the fan comes on and stays on, its fine. 210-225 is normal operating temperature.

Hard wire your fan to a switch..it will stay cooler longer....mine was always running real hot...228 - 242 is what it was now it stays around 224 and it takes a while to get to 240s..

What radiator fluid are you using? I use that orange stuff and it helps a lot. Doesn't over heat and I don't have the fan hardwired.

Re: 600RR stunners????????????????????????

Everyone of my friends 600rr's run hot

they don't even stunt.. But I ALWAYS hear their fan in heavy traffic, or in parking lots..

And I sometimes ride with a group of about 8 600rr's.. And they all always have their fans on!

Whereas I can go about 5-10 minutes in the lot on my f4i, before I gotta turn the fan on for about 2 minutes..

I just remembered the name of it. Its called Liquid Performance. In my experiences, its worked a lot better than Engine Ice. Its like $18 a bottle and you need like 1 1/2 bottles.
