You gotta remember, most of us (85% probably) seek out the sponsors we have. We choose a products we like and use. Trust me when I say this. Sponsors are not beating down my door, haha. Realistically anyone that supports our programs is what we use/wear and pay our hard earned money for.
KJ this sport isnt really evolved that far where theres that much influence to where you have to bullshit about your sponsors. like fmx or ama yet. am i making sense?

+1 i rock the sponsors i like! im not really into using stuff i don't like. so when i come on here and say what i like, im honestly giving my best opinion KJ this sport isnt really evolved that far where theres that much influence to where you have to bullshit about your sponsors. like fmx or ama yet. am i making sense?

I guess that just left a real bad taste in my mouth when it come's to people backing stuff when it's in their signature line.
Yea... I probably should get over it... but sometimes it's still gets under my skin a bit. Like the time i saw Colton pumpin up EBC pads or somethin like that when almost everyone seems to know that stockers work the best.
Hey whatever man. Run what ya brung. Like I said... I'm just a cranky old bastard sometimes.
When all is said and done.... you will get a more honest opinion on a product from a nobody that has tried MANY MANY different things, than a guy that has a sponsor list a page long(w/ that particular product on it).
That's the plain truth.

Someone that has a particular sponsor is going to be rocking that brand product exclusively right?
So when you have another rider that has NO sponsors, he's gonna be trying a whole bunch of different things out every chance he gets to find out what works the best for him. Not just rocking one brand of tire that he get's dirt cheap and/or free.
Plus stunt riders are the cheapest bastards on the planet! I know people that will take free stuff and say it's the best (as long as they can keep gettin it for free). Myself... I'm not afraid to spend $$ and try EVERYTHING out once to see what it's all about.
Know what I'm sayin?
