i dont understand....

Re: i dont understand....
I got frustrated and rode the trail after that, because there wasn't anybody there who understood wheelies, they just have a fuckload of bikes. and kept showing me their awesome power wheelies and saying "do it like this"
I was just happy to have a bike to ride. and then I got hurt. again.
my problem was and will be again, I was still going past the point of balance, coming up a little too hot, getting the brake, dipping too low, throttling back up...sort of. and then getting off balance eventually, because I'm going too slow. it's way better with a handbrake. but no I was not magically good. I magically sucked slightly less, though, and I noticed. which gave me more confidence.
and then I got hurt again.

How About.....
My F4i for example.....
Put a 929 front end on it. I kept the stock clip ons in the stock location. I was able to roll 350+ feet this way. Never thought this was holding me back until I hopped onto the 636 and flipped and turned out the stock clip ons...
Trial and Error.. I dont like change at all. Ive always been Full Fairing. Always used the stock mirrior holes as a location to cut the windscreen. I feel there is no need to have a 2.5 inch wind screen, it serves no purpose.
Its all a CATCH 22

no I'm saying I didn't tankslap or twelve out and set the front tire down on the curb across the lot

Re: i dont understand....
not anymore. But my earlier rear braking experience was sad. I'd just drop it down a gear trail riding, and my first instinct is still to grab the clutch and a I tend to be too rough on the rb with my foot.
a friend put some better tires on a 4 stroke 450. it's got a hb and a scrape bar and some pegs, it's a custom and I don't know who originally built it but he lets me ride it when he's in town.
it's pretty banged up but it's a lot of fun.

Re: i dont understand....
my earlier post wasn't clear. I was actually kind of bragging because I set the front tire down on the curb. I wasn't really going for distance, and certainly wasn't going for circles, I am still trying to get the balance point and stay in it, not just passing through, but I was happy not to have dropped the bike before I had to set it down. it was a completely different bike to me, but I had a lot of fun on it.

Re: i dont understand....
The sweetness of the tires was the first thing I loved. it takes me so long to get used to a different kind of bike, I don't think I know anything about the hb at all, but that it seemed to work well with my bad habits.
