noob bike question

Hey so I know this is a noobie question but with so many bikes and opinions out there im going to ask.

Ive been riding motocross and street since I was 12(now19) and am about to sell my Yam yzf 600R and get into stunting. I have $5500 to spend on the bike, cage, 12bar, and dampener.

What are some of the best years and models to be looking at for that price?

Thank Patrick
and YES I SEARCHED

Re: noob bike question

check the classifides try n find one somebody set up and is in good shape then sold cuz they realized the were 2 scared to stunt! bikes depend on prefrence. I stunt a gix 750 my bike of choice would be a 636 cuz it is a nice sized bike I dont like the 600rr and most of the latemodel bikes cuz they r so fukin skinny and small. but I weigh in at 215 so Im not a small guy. hope this helped noobrs

Re: noob bike question

93 or 94 Katana, -1/+5 sprocket combo, 905 cage, 905 round bar and find yourself a zx-7 hydraulic clutch lever for a hand brake with a FT Inc adapter.

a 1990 - 1996 katana is the best stunt bike on the market. You won't find anything better.

Re: noob bike question

$5500 is plenty of $ to get a good bike and all you will need. I got my f4i for $2700 and it was pretty damn mint. And i went all out and got a 954 front end w/ Hohey top triple and rear sets, 12 bar, rear hand brake, tygershark cage, OMR subcage, paint and powder coat, and a lot more, and I think overall I put out $5700. But I do know a lot of people and got a lot of deals but with that amount of money and e-bay you will have a pretty clean setup.
