crooked handle bars

crooked handle bars

so today i installed some tag risers and dirt bike bars. after i had them on i noticed they are a little crooked and one side of the bars it touching the top of the fork. im thinking about drilling that hole a little bigger so the bars can go straight but im a little scared this will make the bars come loose when riding.

loose holes?! ya thats cause DB bars are gay... clip ons are for streetbikes.. DirtBike bars are for DIRTBIKES

i cant stand clipons i actually like my crooked dirt bars better then the clipons. i find clipons are to far forward and very awkward especially cuz im only 5'7

I'm a small guy too but my clipons feel great with the upper clamp under them. Did you ever flip your clipons? I haven't yet and don't think I will because I kinda like the setup I have now, but kinda want some comparisons from DB bars guys.

i never flipped my clipons i just pushed them out so they were straight. but il tell ya the difference is like night and day for me. with the dirt bars im in a much more upright position instead of leaning way over the front of the bike. seems like i can stay out for longer periods without my wrists getting sore from leaning on them with all my body weight.

Yeah before I went with the DB setup I would have flipped em and put em on top of the upper clamp. Its a HUGE difference from stock and feels to me more like DB bars. Thats why mine are turned out but not flipped. I like DB bars on my db but not on my street bike.

Biggest reason I wouldn't have gone through the trouble is the amount of trouble.

i like clip ons cause they ceep me close to the bike... when yer on a wheelie you shouldnt be hurtn yer wrists unless you have a shitty lever setup...
oh ya.. an DB bars are for BD's LOL

maybe he has t-rex arms, and clipons make him have to lay arcoss the tank to reach em.. like a 6yr old sittin ona bike

I feel like I'm hangin off the bike at bp and need to learn how to stand up with it so I can do no handers. db bars would just put me that much farther back.

im workn on it... i bought my bike with none an to lazt to build a upper stay.. jus got me a 636.. shes full fairing... so.. hahah ya... AND shes got clipons with hohey clamp

dirtbike bars are GAYyyyyyyy
